YSS, Ranchi in collaboration with YSS volunteers of Tamil nadu arranged flood relief to help the flood victims in and around CUDDALORE (Tamilnadu), During December 2015. Ten volunteers from YSDK Coimbatore along with other volunteers from Chennai, Tanjore, Vellore, Cuddalore and Pondicherry as well knit team provided needed help to 2000 flood victims dwelling in remote areas of cuddalore district. Under the guidance of Swami Omkarananda , with the active support of district officials the needed victims were provided with material assistance like food, bedding materials, cooking utensils, tarpaulins, torches and medical worth about Rs.60000. In addition cash assistance Rs.100000 collected from various donors was also given by Coimbatore devotees.

The timely disaster relief offered by YSS volunteers was well received and appreciated by the flood victims and district administration. YSDK Coimbatore sincerely thank all volunteers who participated in this noble service activity and all those devotees whose generous contributions made this possible.
